A meeting of the Intergovernmental Committee, held in Pretoria on 18 September 1998, reviewed and approved the Programme of Work of MINEDAF VII. The meeting also discussed and agreed on the functions of the Committee and the Secretariat and on the obligations of States Members of the Committee and of UNESCO.
