Meetings of Ad Hoc Committee of African Ministers of Education
The Ad Hoc
Committee of Ministers met formally and informally during the Harare Conference and subsequently in
N'Djamena, Chad (11-13
April) to tackle a number of thorny issues that
could not be discussed sufficiently by the wider body of
Ministers. The meetings were chaired by Professor
Sibusiso Bengu, then Minister of Education of South Africa, and
at the time also President, MINEDAF VII
Intergovernmental
Committee.
