 UNESCO Education Actions in Africa

Creating synergy between MINEDAF VII regional initiatives and the actions of the UNESCO Education Programme in the different African countries is a key consideration which provides an overall framework of operations. This strategy is stressed in various places in the UNESCO Approved Programme of Work and Budget for 2000-2001 (Document 30 C/5) available for download at the MINEDAF Document Service.
On this page we post information on or links to selected activities of the UNESCO Education Programme in various African countries. Items are added as information is received, or updated, as necessary. UNESCO Programme Staff submitting items are responsible for the content. Items are posted in the language they are received (English or French), with the responsible Staff or Programmes assuring translation into the other, as needed.
